2024 HPA Awards - Outstanding Colour Grading - Animated Episode or Non Theatrical Feature - Leo - Netflix Feature Animation - WINNER!
Keiran Lee is a freelance colourist with over ten years’ experience in film, television and commercial work.
He’s collaborated with major studios including Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, Sony Pictures, and New Line Cinema, often coming in on high-pressure projects and seeing them through to delivery. His credits include everything from stylised animated features like Leo and The Magician’s Elephant, to large-scale VFX work on Mortal Kombat and hybrid live-action films like Peter Rabbit 2. He’s graded more sequels than he’d care to admit.
Keiran’s approach combines a sharp technical eye with a calm, collaborative energy in the suite. He’s known for building HDR-first workflows that get better results, faster - a process he helped pioneer on projects like Leo and The Magician’s Elephant. His work on Leo earned him the HPA Award for Outstanding Colour Grading.
When he’s not grading, he’s sharing tips through his ongoing video series Keiran’s Quick Tips for Baselight, where he breaks down techniques and workflows for other professionals in the craft.
Keiran is based in Sydney, Australia, and available for remote work globally.
